RESUMO

Objective:To analyze the results of the joint screening of newborn hearing and deafness genes in Dalian to provide a reference for the prevention and control of hereditary deafness. Methods:Eight hundred and forty-two neonates born in Dalian Women and Children′s Medical Group from January 1, 2022 to May 30, 2022 were screened retrospectively, using AABR (automatic brainstem evoked potential). And 20 mutation sites of common genetic deafness 4 genes , including GJB2, GJB3, SLC26A4 (PDS) and mitochondrial genes associated with drug-induced deafness (MT-RNRI)(12SrRNA), were detected by high-throughput sequencing. Results:Among the 842 newborns, 840 passed hearing screening (99.8%); 36 cases (4.3%) passed the hearing screening but not the hearing loss gene screening; 804 cases passed through the both screening (95.5%); 2 cases (0.24%) failed in the both screening. 38 cases of deafness gene mutations were detected, with a total carrying rate of 4.51% (38/842). Among them, the carrying rates of heterozygous mutations in GJB2, GJB3, SLC26A4 (PDS), MT-RNRI (12SrRNA) were 1.90%, 0.24%, 1.30%, and 0.95%, respectively. The carrying rates of GJB2/GJB3 composite heterozygous mutations were 0.12%.Conclusions:The combined screening of neonatal hearing and deafness genes can reduce the missed rate of hearing screening. The carrier rate of neonatal deafness gene in Dalian is 4.51%, with the highest GJB 2 carrier rate, followed by SLC26A4 (PDS) carrier rate.

RESUMO

To understand the current status of emergency nurses’ patient safety attitude cognition and its influencing factors, 746 emergency nurses from 34 hospitals were investigated with the revised Chinese version of the safety attitude questionnaire. The results showed that the total mean score of patient safety attitude of emergency nurses was (3.98±0.40) points, which was above the middle level. Among them, the mean scores of team cooperation, safety atmosphere, management perception, work satisfaction, working condition, and stress perception were (4.14±0.85) points, (3.85±0.81) points, (3.90±0.81) points, (3.91±0.85) points, (3.86±1.06) points, and (3.89±0.59) points, respectively. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that length of service and grade of hospital were the influencing factors of emergency nurses’ patient safety attitude (P<0.05). It is suggested that the managers should incorporate patient safety culture into the training and management of emergency nurses, especially strengthen the safety culture education for junior nurses; the secondary hospital should also focus on enhancing team cooperation training for emergency nurses and improving the working environment of them, so as to reduce unsafe behaviors in nursing work and ensure patients’ safety.

RESUMO

【Objective:】 To understand the current status of narrative nursing knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) among nurses in grade A tertiary hospitals, and to provide a basis for the development of narrative nursing in relevant areas. 【Methods:】 Using convenience sampling methods, 931 nurses from three grade A tertiary hospitals in Xi’an were selected as subjects. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using the Clinical Nurses’ Narrative Nursing Knowledge and Trustworthiness Questionnaire and the General Self-Efficacy Scale. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of nurses’ narrative nursing KAP. 【Results:】 The scores on the three dimensions of narrative nursing KAP were (23.70±2.99) points, (31.69±5.92) points, and (30.26±5.32) points, respectively. Nursing workload, general self-efficacy, professional title, and nursing satisfaction were the influencing factors of nurses’ narrative nursing knowledge dimension (P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in nurses’ narrative nursing attitude dimension among nursing workload, general self-efficacy, professional title, monthly income, and nursing satisfaction (P<0.05). Nursing workload, general self-efficacy, nursing satisfaction, and accompanying experience were the influencing factors of nurses’ narrative nursing behavior dimension (P<0.05). 【Conclusion:】 Nurses in grade A tertiary hospitals have moderate narrative nursing knowledge, positive attitudes, and poor practice execution. The high nursing workload is the main barrier factor for the current development of narrative nursing. Nursing managers should actively build a diversified training system and guarantee system to boost the development of narrative nursing in clinical nursing work, and further promote the development of narrative nursing concepts.

RESUMO

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of phase Ⅰ cardiac rehabilitation exercise on patients with acute myocardial infarction after percutaneous transluminal coronary intervention (PCI).Methods:Convenient sampling method was adopted, totally 84 acute myocardial infarction patients after PCI was randomized into an observation group and control group. Both groups accepted general nursing care. The observation group also accepted the phase Ⅰ cardiac rehabilitation exercise. Cardiac ultrasonic, the 6-minute walk test were used to evaluate the patients′ cardiac function and exercise tolerance, the SF-12 were used to evaluate the quality of life. Results:After repeated measurement ANOVA, before the intervention, there was no significant difference in cardiac function and quality of life between the two groups ( P>0.05); before discharge, the 6-minute walk distance of the observation group was longer than that of the control group, and the difference was significant( F value was 5.279, P=0.024). At 1 month after discharge, there were significant differences in the LVEF( F value was 8.119, P=0.006) and 6-minute walking distance( F value was 9.829, P=0.002) between the two groups ( P<0.05), analysis of the six items of SF-12 including general health( F value was 6.905, P=0.010), physical functioning( F value was 10.595, P=0.002), role physical( F value was 11.168, P=0.001), bodily pain( F value was 12.548, P=0.001), mental health( F value was 7.362, P=0.008) and vitality( F value was 13.692, P<0.001) having shown significant differences between the two groups. At 3 months after discharge, there were significant differences in the LVEF( F value was 11.156, P=0.001), 6-minute walk distance( F value was 16.554, P<0.001)and quality of life in all dimensions between the two groups ( P<0.05). Conclusion:Phase Ⅰ cardiac rehabilitation exercise can improve cardiac function and the quality of life in patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing PCI, and enhance the exercise tolerance.

RESUMO

Objective Alzheimer's disease(AD) is a common and devastating disease and there is no readily available biomarker to aid diagnosis or to monitor disease progression. This study is to further understand the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease and seek new biomarkers for AD. Methods AD rats made by Aβ1-40 were assessed using the Morris water maze method. Sera of two groups were collected and albumin, IgG and sodium chloride were removed from the serum before concentration. Two-dimensional electrophoresis(2-DE) was performed on serum protein. Altered proteins were identified by matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS). Results Compared with untreated samples, 10 altered proteins were found through 2-DE and all of them were down-regulated of which 2 were identified by MALDI-TOF-MS to be plasma retinol-binding protein precursor and complement component 4, gene 2 (C4b). Conclusion C4b may be the biomarker of AD and it may be helpful to understand the pathogenesis of AD.

RESUMO

Objective Since predicting protein secondary structure is the basis of predicting protein spacial structure, it is important to improve the prediction accuracy of secondary structure. Methods A two-stage BP neural network was constructed based on the method of combining hydrophobicity of amino acid residues with PSSM which contains evolution information. CB513 dataset was employed in our study. After excluding the protein chains containing X,B and those with sequence length shorter than 30 amino acids, 492 protein chains in the dataset were used. The results of protein secondary structure prediction of our study were compared with those from the networks using only PSSN as their inputs. Accuracy of the network was tested by 4-fold cross-validation. Results In our study, α-helix was predicted with an averaged accuracy of nearly 79%, sensitivity of 79% and specificity of 91%. Total prediction accuracy of secondary structure reached 75.96%, which was higher than that of only using PSSM as input. Conclusion The new method developed can better predict protein secondary structure, especially α-helix with a higher accuracy.
